Mike Hoolboom at the MacKenzie Art Gallery
Wednesday, February 25th at 7:30 pm
Free!
Filmmaker Mike Hoolboom will give a talk about pictures: what makes some pictures visible and others invisible (even as they are being seen) and how some pictures are used to conceal while seeming to reveal...about state pictures versus artists' pictures, touching on George Bush’s blue jeans, Hiroshima, the Matrix and questions of love.
This event is presented by the MacKenzie Art Gallery and the UR Queer Initiative (URQI) with the assistance of Sarah Abbott, U of R Department of Media Production and Studies, and the Winnipeg Film Group.
Don't miss it!
